2 more held for role in CRPF camp attack

LUCKNOW: The Special Task Force of the Uttar Pradesh police late on Sunday night arrested two persons for their role in the January 1, 2008 terror attack on the Central Reserve Police Force Group Centre in Rampur. They were Mohammad Kausar Farooqui, son of Qadeeruddin of Azad Nagar in Kunda, Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh; and his accomplice Gulab of Baheri in Bareilly district.
Arms and explosives used in the attack were kept in their houses.
An STF official said that Mohammad Sabahuddin, one of the six Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists arrested on Saturday, revealed that the plan to attack the ISRO in Bangalore was abandoned due to tight security. He had conducted a recce of ISRO around the same time when the IISc was attacked.
