Woman commits self-immolation

Sarojini (50) of Samayapuram allegedly committed self-immolation near the Government Hospital in Srirangam.. Police said that she was immediately admitted to the hospital where she succumbed to the burns on Monday. It is said that she took the extreme step owing to a family feud. The Srirangam police have registered a case.
