One-time water connection charges go up

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has increased its one-time connection charges for consumers of all categories.

Residential buildings, more than two floors, have to pay Rs. 150 up from Rs. 140. Apartments have to pay Rs. 200, up from Rs. 160 and commercial buildings have to pay Rs. 300, up from Rs. 240. Connection charges for residences less two floors have to only pay meter charges of Rs. 1,740.
