KOCHI: The first of a series of outlets being opened by the Coir Board to increase domestic sale of coir products was inaugurated at Kolancherry on Tuesday. The programme was inaugurated by Coir Board chairman A.C. Jose. Rajan Chitteth, president of the Kolancherry grama panchayat, carried out the first sale from the outlet, a press release here said. Mr. Jose said the efforts of the board would be to increase domestic sales, along with helping exports. — Staff Reporter
