‘Unite under one umbrella’

Staff Reporter

Sangareddy: Medak Member of Parliament A.Narendra, addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, called upon the senior members of Parliament from Congress who recently returned from Delhi to tender resignations to the party membership.

Shameful

Terming their unceremonious return as shameful, Narendra opined that a mere resignation to their Parliament seats would not yield any results.

He alleged that the Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy used all the tricks in his cards in stopping the meeting between Sonia Gandhi and leaders from Telangana. He urged all the senior Telangana leaders from all political parties to come out of their political shackles and unite under one umbrella.

The vociferous leader known as tiger Narendra agreeing that his health is not permitting him to roar like earlier, said that he would come out with the second episode on K. Chandra Sekhar Rao just before the parliament elections.

He opined that the latest deadline set by KCR would not yield any results and said that all the TRS MLAs and MPs should have resigned the day they came out of the UPA government.

“This is only KCR’s fight for credit, not for Telangana” he said.

Remembering his efforts to introduce a private bill on Telangana in Parliament during NDA regime, Narendra called upon Bharatiya Janata Party to introduce a bill in the coming parliament session as the mood in CPI (M) and TDP is wavering and both parties might stay away from voting.

Support

Refusing to comment on his status in Bahujana Samaj party, Narendra said that he only extended support to BSP and not taken any membership.

Commenting on the recent spurt in suicides of sugarcane farmers in the district, Narendra warned the State government to take corrective measures.
