Seminar on bioinformatics to begin at Pondicherry University today

PUDUCHERRY: A three-day national seminar on ‘Applications of bioinformatics in genome research’ will begin at Pondicherry University on Wednesday. The seminar will be held by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and the Pondicherry University.

Leading scientists from different parts of the country would deliver lectures covering the recent developments in genomic science and the various applications of bioinformatics tools in genome research, a release issued by the university said.
