‘Follow the ‘why’ approach’

In response to the Public Eye of January 30, B. Smitha Rao from Lady Hill opines that schools nurture varied personalities and education forms the mindset of any society.

Educational institutions should concentrate on the ‘why’ approach rather than ‘what’ approach. The capacity of students to apply knowledge rather than reproduce texts and data should be adequately tested, she says.
