MCD directive on property tax

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has made it mandatory under Section 123-A of the DMC Act for every property tax payer in the city to submit details of his property by February 29.

In a statement on Wednesday, Leader of the House Subhash Arya said apart from the property tax office at Lajpat Nagar, details could now be submitted at 12 zonal offices as well as over the Internet.

“If the property tax payer does not have the prescribed form, the details can be submitted on a photocopy,” he added.
