Mughal Gardens to open on February 16

NEW DELHI: The Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan here will be opened to the public from February 16 to March 28.

The historic gardens, which attract a large number of visitors every year, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all days except Mondays.

Rashtrapati Bhavan officials said the gardens would also remain closed on March 21 and 22.

Entry and exit to the gardens will be from Gate No.35 of the President’s Estate, which is located near North Avenue. Special arrangements have been made to facilitate entry of physically challenged persons. Those using wheelchairs will be allowed entry through the Rashtrapati Bhavan Reception.

Visitors

Visitors have been advised not to bring water bottles, briefcases, handbags and ladies’ purses, cameras, radios and transistors, cell phones, umbrellas, arms and ammunition or eatables.
