Four policemen to undergo narco test

R. Ilangovan

SALEM: Following the delay in solving the disappearance of arms from Adiyamankottai police station in Dharmapuri district a few days ago, the State police have started preparing grounds for subjecting four of their police personnel, who were on duty at that time, to a narco analysis test at the Forensic Laboratory in Bangalore. An affidavit seeking permission for carrying out the test to procure “critical information” has been filed before the court of Dharmapuri Judicial Magistrate No. 2. The court is yet to respond.

The police also decided to place one more witness, a computer operator who was sleeping in the station at the time of the incident, to narco test.
