London-based CII, IIRM sign pact

HYDERABAD: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Tuesday between the London-based Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) here to develop and deliver a programme in ‘Bancassurance’ leading to certification of Continuous Professional Development and accreditation by the CII.

According to an IIRM press release, The MoU was signed by Vepa Kamesam representing IIRM and Alexander Scott, CEO, CII, during the latter’s visit to the institute. Dr. Scott held discussions with the faculty and addressed students on the global opportunities in the fields of insurance and finance.
