Corrections and clarifications

In a cricket report “McCullum and Ryder have a run feast” (“Sport”, February 13, 2008), the tenth paragraph was “The breakthrough came in the sixth over when New Zealand bowling spearhead Chris Martin removed Cook (13) and Ian Bell in successive balls to have the tourists 41 for two.” It was an error. The first batsman dismissed by Chris Martin was Phil Mustard, and not Alistair Cook. (The report was on the second one-day international at Hamilton between New Zealand and England.)

Agnes Szavay of Hungary is the fifth player and not the fourth as reported in a tennis report “Agnes Szavay for Bangalore Open” (“Sport”, February 12, 2008). (The $600,000 Bangalore Open tennis championship gets under way on March 3, 2008.)
