Accent will be Centre’s fleet of official cars

CHENNAI: The Accent GLE, manufactured by Hyundai Motor India, has been chosen by the Union Government for its fleet of official cars, says a release from the company. With this, Hyundai Motor India, expects to increase the user base of the sedan. The Accent will be supplied to all government agencies at the Union and State levels at a special rate. The Government is also evaluating the Hyundai Verna and Sonata models for registration as approved automobiles for purchase, the release adds. —Special Correspondent
