Court moved to conduct fogging

Kochi: A petition was filed before the Kerala High Court seeking a direction to the Kochi Corporation to take steps to conduct fogging in the city to fight the mosquito menace. The petition was filed by Dejo Kappan. According to him, the corporation had not been conducting fogging despite a clear directive by the court nor salt water was being pumped into the drains. He said because of the failure of the corporation, there was likelihood of an outbreak of various diseases. — Special Correspondent
