Traffic restrictions

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city police have announced traffic restrictions at Shangumughom, All Saints College junction, Chakka-Kazhakkoottam bypass, Pettah, Pattoor, General Hospital junction, Palayam, PMG, RR lab, Museum junction, Vellayambalam, Kowdiar, Bakery junction, Vazhuthacaud, Jagathy and Poojappura on February 15 in connection with the visit of the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

Vehicles bringing people for the public function scheduled at the Central stadium should park only in the designated areas. Vehicles coming from the Nedumangad area should offload people at the Martyrs’ Column and park at the Enchakkal bypass area. Vehicles coming from the Neyyattinkara, Kattakkada, Vizhinjam areas should offload people at the Housing Board junction and park at the bund road at Killippalam.

Traffic restrictions would be in force at Shangumughom, All Saints College junction and the Chakka-kazhakkoottam bypass from 8.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.; at Chakka and Museum from 10.30 a.m. to 11.15 a.m.; at Museum, Bakery junction, Vellayambalam, Vazhuthacaud, Jagathy, Poojappura from noon to 1.30 p.m.; at Kowdiar, Vellayamabalam, Museum, Palayam and Statue from 4.30 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. and at Statue, General Hospital, Pattoor, Chakka, All Saints College junction and Shangumughom from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., a press note issued here said.
