Suresh Kumar made Secretary

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K. Suresh Kumar, who initially headed the Munnar eviction drive and was later shifted from the post, was on Wednesday promoted from the cadre of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary to the government. His promotion is with retrospective effect from May 16, 2002. Though it had fallen due on that date, the promotion was withheld so far in the context of two Vigilance cases filed against him.
