Pramod Mahajan’s brother arrested

Mumbai: The late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan’s brother, Prakash Mahajan, who is a senior functionary in Raj Thackeray’s MNS, was arrested on Wednesday in Aurangabad following a complaint that he incited people, the police said.

An FIR was registered against Mr. Mahajan at the Kranti Chowk police station and he was arrested along with six other MNS workers, they said.

Mr. Prakash Mahajan was produced before a local magistrate in Aurangabad, about 300 km from here. He has applied for bail, they said. — PTI
