A. Murigeppa is new V-C

Bangalore: A. Murigeppa, Retired Professor of Linguistics, Karnatak University, Dharwad, is the new Vice-Chancellor of Kannada University, Hampi. A notification in this regard was issued by Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Wednesday. The post of vice-chancellor was vacant since June 27, 2007. Two senior professors of the university had served as the acting vice-chancellors.
