Viniv Inc. Shastry’s plea dismissed
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition by Sreenivasa Shastry seeking to quash a lower court order denying him bail.
In his petition, Shastry said though the State Government had constituted a special court to hear and dispose of cases relating to deposit frauds, the District and Sessions Judge of Bangalore had referred the case to the 26th Sessions Court.
Yet, the case of Viniv Inc. had been referred to another court, which, Shastry said, had rejected his application for bail.
Shastry urged the High Court to quash the lower court order.
Justice Anand Byrareddy dismissed the case.
