‘Psychology and cinema’

BANGALORE: Christ College is organising a three-day conference on “Psychology and cinema” at its premises here.

The inaugural symposium was chaired by well-known psychoanalyst Sudhir Kakar. The conference will end on February 16.

Movies are being screened simultaneously at three venues on the campus. They include Sancharam, Dharm, Navarasa, Persona, Left Luggage, Remembrances of Things Present, Yugant, Devrai, and Way Back Home.

There will be discussions on each film by resource persons. On Friday and Saturday, there will be symposia, panel discussions and scientific sessions by scholars and experts from all over India on topics such as music, dance, and technology in cinema.
