Jammu: A retired CRPF jawan allegedly shot his wife, injuring her following a verbal duel, in Samba district here, police said today. A verbal duel broke out between Madan Lal and his wife Surjeet on Thursday. In a fit rage, Lal pulled out his rifle and fired shots at her, police said. The bullet pierced through her right shoulder, they said, adding she was hospitalised.
