Drinking water schemes

KOLAR: Zilla panchayat’s standing committee on education and health has decided to expedite completion of drinking water projects before the coming summer. In its meeting held on Wednesday, the committee approved, in principle, an additional action plan costing Rs. 11 crore for the purpose, committee chairman Krishna Sing told presspersons. The meeting expressed dissatisfaction about the working of Nirmithi Kendra in executing rain water harvesting projects, Mr. Sing said. — Staff Correspondent
