ThoughtWorks plans centre in Chennai

CHENNAI: ThoughtWorks, the U.S.-based information technology professional services firm, plans to set up its operations in Chennai. It already has centres in Bangalore and Pune.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Roy Singham, Founder and Chairman of the company, said the Chennai centre would have around 75 employees by the end of 2008. At present, the company had around 270 employees in India and it would go up to 350. ThoughtWorks would offer services and products for the entire software development lifecycle right from its conception stage to development.
