Protest against delay in execution

NEW DELHI: Led by their president Amit Thakkar, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers held a demonstration at Amar Jawan Jyoti here on Thursday as a mark of protest against the delay in executing death-row inmate and Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Thakkar said: “Though the Supreme Court has sentenced the convict to death penalty, I fail to understand why the Government is taking so long in following it.”
