Minister distributes TV sets

VILLUPURAM: Higher Education Minister K. Ponmudy distributed colour television sets to beneficiaries at villages in Maiylam and Marakkanam panchayat unions on Thursday.

He gave away 2,491 sets in the following villages: Kenipattu – 436, Annamputhur – 444, Vengai – 359, Athur – 396, Naalmukkal – 275, Adasal – 309 and Asappur – 272.

District Revenue Officer C. Kathiravan and Revenue Divisional Officer (Tindivanam) Vijayakumar were present.
