Junior Assistant dismissed

VIZIANAGARAM: Superintendent of Police Vikram Singh Mann on Friday dismissed Junior Assistant D. Ramesh Babu from service for his alleged involvement in a criminal case.The junior assistant had allegedly cheated unemployed youth promising jobs as Home Guards in the District Police Office in 2004. He was arrested then under sections 420,468 and 471 IPC and released later on bail. But he was absconding since released on bail and his whereabouts were not known, the SP said.
