KOCHI: The Plachimada Action Council, fighting against the alleged groundwater exploitation by the Coca Cola company, has said that it will not let the company to locate a mango processing factory at Plachimada. Action council chairman Vilayodi Venugopal and the Plachimada Solidarity Committee chairman N.P. Johnson said at a news conference here that the proposed mango processing factory would further deplete groundwater in the area. Water level downThe overuse of water by the company, which had been shut down, had drastically lowered the groundwater level in the area.
