Welfare association
Seven pairs of brides and bridegrooms will participate in the function to be conducted free of cost by the Salem District Physically Handicapped Welfare Association and Lions Club of Salem Cosmos.
The two organisations organised an interaction programme for the brides and bridegrooms and their parents and relatives here on Friday.
Programmes
District Physically Handicapped Welfare Association president Athiyannan said that the association has been conducting such programmes for the last several years.
As the differently-abled persons were facing difficulties in finding life partners, the association had taken up the initiatives to conduct free marriages.
Office-bearers
District Disabled Rehabilitation Officer Rajeshwari, Lions Club office-bearers and senior officials were present at the interaction programme.
