GUNTUR: The Guntur regional office of Employees Provident Fund Organisation will distribute monthly pensions for all subscribers to EPF pension scheme through designated banks only from March 1. Regional PF Commissioner M.P. Vargheese in a release here on Friday advised all pensioners drawing their amount under the Family Pension Scheme of 1971 to surrender their Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) to Regional Office at Guntur immediately with the details of Savings Bank account number opened in their name in any of the following designated banks: State Bank of India, Andhra Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank. Only these banks have been designated as pension disbursement agencies. HR panel directiveThe Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission, Hyderabad, has directed the Guntur District Collector to not to proceed with eviction of people occupying the resumed ‘Assigned land’ and file a comprehensive report by February 29. Panel justice B. Subhashan Reddy issued the directive based on the complaint filed by All India Democratic Mahila Association, Guntur unit.
