This Day That Age
Mr. T.T. Krishnamachari, whose resignation has been accepted by the President, handed over charge of the Finance Portfolio to Prime Minister Nehru, at his office on February 14. Mr. Nehru, before he took charge, spoke to the senior officials of the Ministry and explained the circumstances under which he was taking over the portfolio and paid a tribute to the work done by Mr. Krishnamachari during his tenure of office.
