NIC in $7b umbrella insurance policy with BHEL

KOLKATA: National Insurance has designed a cover for Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) to provide insurance protection for all its projects-on-hand under a single policy. Total sum insured under the cover is about $7 billion, spanning 19 projects, which BHEL has in its order books, with a provision to attach more projects, which may be procured during the policy period. The initial premium is estimated at Rs. 42 crore. — Special Correspondent
