KOCHI: Commonwealth Championship gold medallist Ranjit Kaur and Manipur’s C. H. Jinadevi scored impressive ‘ippon’ wins and won the women’s 44kg and 70kg gold respectively in the National senior judo championship which began at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium here on Friday. In the men’s section, Narenderjit (Police, 56kg) and Anil Kumar (ITBP, 90kg) won golds in their respective weight categories. The results (finals): Men: 56 kg: Narenderjit (Police SCB) bt Madan Lal (ITBP) by ippon. Bronze: L. Dinit Singh (Jharkhand) & Rupa Chandra (Services SCB). 90 kg: Anil Kumar (ITBP) bt Vikram Solanki (Delhi) by ippon. Bronze: Jaswant Singh (Punjab) & Satender Singh (Services SCB). Women: 44 kg: Ranjit Kaur (CRPF) bt Rajani (Haryana) by koka. Bronze: Nippu Jamwal (J&K) & Bidya Laxmi (Manipur). 70 kg: C.H. Jinadevi (Manipur) bt Laldoni Devi (UP) by ippon.
