MANGALORE: Kasturba Medical College teams from Manipal and Mangalore had mixed fortunes in the Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by the DKDCA for professional colleges for the Ace Surgical Cup here on Friday. While KMC (Manipal) lost to Sapthagiri College of Hotel Management (Mangalore) by four wickets, KMC ‘B’ (Mangalore) thrashed Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences by 64 runs. The scores: KMC (Manipal) 91 in 18.5 overs (Amar 21, Sai Prasad four for 10) lost to Sapthagiri College of Hotel Management 92 for six in 17.2 overs (Sai Prasad 28, Rajesh Yadav 22, Pranjal C. three for 8) KMC ‘B’ (Mangalore) 192 for 8 in 20 overs (Anuj Choudhary 69, Himmat Singh 37, Kishan three for 30) bt Manipal COAHS (Manipal) 128 in 18.4 overs (Rahul Khanna 29, Shabin 21, Gobind three for 3). — Staff Correspondent
