Malleswaram Club posts win
BANGALORE: Malleswaram Club prevailed over Century Club `A’ 2-1 in the 3rd Gopal N. Chugh Handicap inter-club billiards and snooker tournament at the Bowring Institute hall here on Friday. Host Bowring Institute however had mixed fortunes as its `C’ and `D’ strings pulled off facile wins over Indiranagar ‘A’ and KGS ‘A’ respectively.
However Bowring Institute ‘A’ lost 1-2 to KSCA in a close encounter.
The results: Malleswaram Club bt Century Club ‘A’ 2-1; KSBA ‘A’ bt City Institute 2-1; Bangalore Club ‘A’ bt KSBA ‘D’ 2-1; Catholic Club ‘A’ bt KSBA ‘C’ 2-0; Bowring Inst. ‘D’ bt KGS ‘A’ 2-0; Bowring Inst. ‘C’ bt Indiranagar ‘A’ 2-0; KSCA bt Bowring Inst. ‘A’ 2-1; ECA ‘A’ bt KSBA ‘E’ 2-1.
