Rourkela: Four girls, including two minors, were rescued while they were being allegedly smuggled to Delhi and a woman was arrested in this connection here today, GRP said. The girls had been lured by the woman, identified as Sangita Baag, who promised them jobs in Delhi for hefty remunerations. While the two minors were from Bartuli in Orissa’s Sundargarh district, the other two - aged 21 and 22 years - hailed from Simdega in Jharkhand, the GRP said. Sangita herself belonged to Simdega and frequently took poor tribal girls from Jharkhand and Orissa to Delhi. The girls were handed over to their parents after they arrived here, the GRP added. - PTI
