AIIMS withdraws termination letter

NEW DELHI: The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences on Friday withdrew the termination letter it had served on one of its senior residents on the direction of the Delhi High Court, according to senior residents of the Institute.

“The AIIMS administration had served termination orders on Anand Mishra, a senior resident at the Institute, despite a stay order by the High Court on the fate of the services of 104 senior residents at AIIMS. Dr. Mishra went to court today and the AIIMS administration was forced to withdraw the termination letter,” said a release.
