Kerala’s run continues

KOCHI: Kerala defeated Andhra by four wickets and maintained its winning run in the P.S. Ram Mohan Rao Trophy South Zone under-25 limited-overs cricket championship at Fatorda, Goa, on Friday.

In another league match, Tamil Nadu beat Hyderabad by eight wickets. The scores: Andhra 190 for nine in 50 overs (V. Lenin 50 n.o., G. Sharath Babu 43, Prasanth Parameshwaran three for 51, Krishna Chandran three for 34) lost to Kerala 193 for six in 46.1 overs (Vineeth Viswanath 61, Madan Mohan 37, Pravin Achuthan 29 n.o., V.Achutha Rao three for 18).

Hyderabad 128 in 38 overs (V. Subramaniya Siva three for 26, Suresh Babu three for 13) lost to Tamil Nadu 131 for two in 18 overs (E. Aswin 57).
