Crazy games, cheering, uninhibited fun

CHENNAI: A prize for the team that makes the loudest noise is incentive enough to scream your guts out. But, there was more. Plenty of crazy games, cheering and uninhibited fun – the Jetix way – were what thousands of children gathered at the Nehru Park Ground for the Jetix Action League on Friday were cheering about.
Jetix, a popular children’s television channel, organised a sports day with a ‘Jetix Twist’ for children from across Chennai to play outdoor games and enjoy themselves. Going by the number of children and the noise they were all making, it seemed like the event was a big hit.
As long as the games, music and cheering were on, winning seemed to be the last thing on most kids’ minds.
