BDO killed in fire accident in Krishnagiri

KRISHNAGIRI: A block development officer (BDO) was killed in a fire accident in Bargur on Saturday. Police said Jesudas Jebamani (52), BDO of Bargur, was reportedly burning the waste materials near his house, when his cloths caught fire. He sustained serious burns and was rushed to the Krishnagiri Government Hospital. He was referred for further treatment to Salem. But he died on the way. A case was registered.
