Studio owners’ complaint

KANCHEEPURAM: Owners of photo and video studios at Sriperumpudur have lodged a complaint with the Superintendent of Police stating that they were “ill-treated” by the local police.

In a memorandum submitted at the office of the Superintendent of Police here on Friday, the studio owners claimed that a group of policemen had barged into the premises of eight studios functioning in Sriperumpudur on Friday morning and had brought the staff and the owners to the police station.

Meanwhile, enquiries revealed that refusal on the part of the studio owners to take photographs of accident spots along the National Highway free of cost, had irked the police personnel.
