Cultural feast at Guruvayur

Guruvayur: A host of cultural programmes will be held as part of Guruvayur temple festival from February 18 to 26. The programmes include Kathakali, featuring Kalamandalam Gopi, Sadanam Krishnankutty and Kalanilayam Unnikrishnan; nadaswaram recital by Mannargudi M. S. K. Sankaranarayanan; Koodiyattom by Natanakairali, flute recital by Chalakudy Raghunath; concert by Chennai Karnataka Brothers; Odissi by Madhumita Mishra; Mohiniyattom by Aparna Marar and Kalamandalam Leelamma; bhajan by Gayatri; dance programme by Geetha Radhakrishna Menon, based on the Narayaneeyam; devotional music programme by M. G. Sreekumar; Hindustani concert by Ramesh Narayanan; shehnai recital by Pandit Krishnarao Chowdhury; dance by cine actor Sukanya; Nangiarkoothu by Usha Nangiar; classical dance show by Rajashree Warrier; Krishnanattom by Guruvayur Kshetra Kalanilayam; Theyyam by Kannur Cherthuazham Ramachandra Panicker; bamboo orchestra by Vayali Arangottukara; dance programme by Bangalore Padmini; Kathak by Bangalore Nirupama Rajashree; Kuchipudi recital by Radha and Raja Reddy; and Ashtapadi by Janardhanan Nedungadi.
