Corporates urged to nurture skilled human resources

CHENNAI: The two-day annual Madras Management Association Convention – 2008 began with the Managing Director of Ashok Leyland, R. Seshasayee, appealing to the Indian corporate top brass to attach greater importance to spotting and nurturing skilled human resources to help meet the global challenges.

Inaugurating the MMA meet, Mr. Seshasayee called for more investments in research and development, especially for encouraging innovative ideas.

He released a souvenir, ‘Business Mandate,’ brought out to commemorate the convention.
