BEGINNING OF HOPE: Members of the Naga community celebrate the colourful seed-sowing festival “Lui-Ngai-Ni” with pomp and gaiety at the United College Lambung in Chandel headquarters of Manipur on Friday. The festival kicked off with the lighting of the Naga sacred fire. Several ethnic tribes presented traditional dances and folk songs marking the beginning of the function in the morning.
