Business directory released

Kochi: A multi-telecom, multi-colour, commercial telephone directory brought out by GETIT Infoservices Limited was released here on Friday.

Titled GETIT Bizlist, this is claimed to be an updated version containing a lot of information pertaining to various business, according to Jacob Thomas, GETIT Inforservices.

Business telephone subscriber from all the telecom service providers like Tata Telecom, Reliance, BSNL, Hutch and Airtel would get a ‘one-line free listing’ in the Getit Bizlist, he said.

In the first phase, Bizlist would be introduced in 12 cities, including Ernakulam, Thrissur, Bangalore, Mangalore, Coimbatore, Mysore, Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Erode and Thiruvananthapuram.

It would be introduced in Mumbai and Delhi later, he said. In the book, Kochi city is divided into five zones.

The first few pages contain emergency services, civic amenities, public utility services and places of worship.

Information on travel and tourism related centres in Ernakulam and nearby towns has been included.
