HIWL asked to clear workers’ dues

Bhubaneswar: Orissa Government today said it would not hesitate to cancel the sale-purchase deed with Varsha fabrication of P.K.Ruia group if it failed to clear dues of workers and employees engaged in Hirakud Industrial Works Limited (HIWL) in Sambalpur. Industries Minister B.B.Harichandan told the Assembly while replying a motion that the Government had already asked the company to clear dues of employees and workers soon or face consequences as per law.
