Doctors threaten stir

BERHAMPUR: The representatives of Orissa Medical Services Association (OMSA) in south Orissa organised a meeting in the city under the leadership of the vice-president of association, Nirakar Bhatta on Saturday to discuss about their future course of action. About 1,500 Government doctors serving in south Orissa, who are members OMSA have already remitted their resignation letters to the OMSA leaders with one month’s notice. They have threatened to cease work from March 18. They are demanding better pay and better infrastructure facilities at their work places in rural areas.
