Vacation training programme

CHENNAI: The Loyola Institute of Frontier Energy (LIFE), Loyola College, will be conducting a vacation training programme on bio-resources between May 4 and 31 for students who have taken the exams for or passed Standard X. The fully residential programme is sponsored by the National Bioresource Development Board, Government of India.

Those interested in attending it from the State should send in their bio-data and a one page write-up on how the course is likely to benefit them. The letter should be forwarded to LIFE by the candidate’s school principal, along with a letter from the candidate’s parents expressing consent for their ward to attend the course.

According to a press release, only one application would be accepted from each school. The applications with the forwarding letter should reach M. Selvanayagam, Course Coordinator and Director, LIFE, Loyola College, Chennai – 34, on or before April 14.
