VCK stages demonstration

KANCHEEPURAM: The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) organised a demonstration at Sriperumpudur on Friday demanding immediate withdrawal of a GO declaring 300 metres around the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial as a “no development zone.”The demonstrators said that if the order were to be implemented “strictly,” , the Arignar Anna Government Hospital (near the memorial), government school and bus stand would remain in the same condition for ever.
