SCR trounces CMR

HYDERABAD: South Central Railway recorded the biggest win of the day when it trounced CMR Engineering College 72-24 in the league phase of the C. Narsi Reddy memorial invitation basketball tournament organised by RBVR Sports Club at Reddy Hostel here on Saturday. The winner led 36-14 at the break.

Tirupathi (14), I. B. P. Varma (12) and Liju Abraham (10) were the main scorers for the winners while only Sravan (10) put up a good show for the losers.

Other results: SBI 37 (Chenna Reddy 12, Premkrupakar 11, Ramachandran 10) bt St. Mary’s Engg College 30 (Anup 19).
