Tourist-friendly package to East Europe unveiled

Trade Wings Ltd. has come up with the‘11-night, 12-day’ concept


HYDERABAD: Got sick of package tours that take you to predictable and known places ? Have yen for exploring new destinations where not many Indian travellers have tread, but worried about “hidden costs” ?

Trade Wings Limited (TWL), one of the oldest and largest travel networks in the country, has come up with ‘Treasures of Eastern Europe’ of 11-night, 12-day ‘tourist- friendly’ package that takes you through Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.

It starts off with a cruise on the Vltava river in Prague that offers a spectacular view of 1000-year-old Prague castle, the Baroque houses and ends with a visit to old city of Krakow and Auschwitz site, the infamous Nazis concentration camp.

The 12-day tour includes visit to the United Nations city on the banks of the Danube river and Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, the picturesque Lake Bled in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Budapest and Bratislava that whisks you back to a few centuries.

The package forms part of the new international and domestic tours for the year unveiled by R. J. Agarwal, group chairman of the TWL, at a function here attended by city’s prominent persons. Kirti Shah, CEO and Rajan Dani, director, spoke.

Pricing

Ravi Koul, national head, outbound tours said: “Our tour costs are extremely competitive and transparent with no hidden costs.” Another unique offer this year is “New Zealand self-drive”.

Jayanthi Ravi, regional manager, South, said it was offering group and tailor- made packages for tourists from Hyderabad.
